About Us

NCTRC

NCTRC is a 501c3 nonprofit founded in 1977. Our inclusive summer camp program started in 2009, and brings together children with and without disabilities, offering every child the chance to participate in horseback riding and traditional day camp activities. All campers benefit from the inclusive environment, developing respect, tolerance, and compassion, while participating in a daily group riding lesson tailored to their skill level and taught by a PATH Intl-certified therapeutic riding instructor. In addition to riding both in the arena and on the trail, campers participate in horse care, grooming, tacking, and other barn activities.Campers experience a taste of life on the farm, enjoying both outdoor and indoor games and activities.
